Insomnia

This Insomnia Society focuses on relieving students' stress. All Cardiff Met University students are welcome to attend. We entertain through musical evenings, amusing activities, hiking trails, sports events, and mini festival events, to name a few.

This society is all about the being a stress buster for students. It is open for all students who want to have a relief from their over embellished daily routines. Parties without alcohol are how we entertain. Main aim of society is to create stress free, enjoyable environment. Post pandemic, everyone is looking for entertainment activities so that social networks are built up and have a holistic University experience rather than the academics. We emphasise on the fact that our Society is intended for "all students" regardless of backgrounds, gender, ethinicity, cultures etc, thus incorporating native as well as international students with an intention to give all of us a platform to show our talents, be it at the back-end or the fore-front. We hope that as a society, we will do everything we can to ensure that you have a pleasant time throughout your college years.

We will encourage students to present ideas that have a positive impact on people, and then we will work on that idea as a group. We have some inexpensive sustainable ideas. Discussions lead to debates, and debates lead to solutions.

We will have an event meet once a month. All new ideas from society members will be considered by society committee members and implemented as future monthly events. We urge all students to become members of our organisation and to participate in each event that we organise.
