Your student portal is called The Student Room and is available to Cardiff Met students only. It has a range of resources and information for current students studying at Cardiff Met. This is your hub that contains important things like e-mail, Moodle, Personalised Timetable, Met Hub, MetSearch, etc.
The platform that Cardiff Met is using is Microsoft Teams. In a nutshell, Microsoft Teams combines workplace chat, video and audio calls, meetings, notes, and files. The service integrates many Office 365 applications, such as SharePoint Online, Planner and Stream and puts them in one easy to reach location. Office 365 is a collaboration platform with Office applications and other productive services that users can subscribe to. Users can access emails, contacts, calendar and other office apps like Word, Excel. PowerPoint, Outlook, Sway, Teams. Form and OneNote etc over the internet.

At Cardiff Met, our staff and students use Moodle. This is a learning platform which is home to your personalised learning environment.
It is home to all your Lecture and Seminar Notes, Module Handbooks, Submission Points, your Profile of Marks, and a place to blog discussion. It is the main hub for your course information and can be accessed through your Student Portal.
Our colleagues in Cardiff Met have made this very useful app that is packed full of useful services and features, enabling you round the clock access to Email, your Personalised Timetable, Moodle, Student Services, Personal Tutor Booking, Library info and PC Availability - This is worth downloading so no excuses about missing deadlines!
At Cardiff Met, our student support services are all housed within one central platform known as MetHub. You can use MetHub to access Wellbeing support, book appointments with the Careers Service and the Money Advice team as well as access a wide range of resources, book on to events and find the latest graduate roles and job opportunities.
