Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity for any current student who is at Cardiff Met. The role of the Vice President is challenging but extremely rewarding, you will be responsible for representing the Cardiff Met Students on education and welfare and representation matters. The position is more students facing than the President position. You will be required to support and coordinate the School Representation structure through the 5 Schools, ensuring good lines of communication, between students, the School and the Union.
This role is extremely rewarding and provides you with extensive experience to add to your CV, it is lots of fun to.
Responsibilities
Support / defend student academic rights
Communicate issues between the SU, its members and the University
Maintain and develop links with students to ensure all elements of welfare are delivered
Support and develop the Representation structure
Encourage student involvement with the Students’ Union
To enhance the student experience and represent the views of the students at key meetings with senior members of the University and external stakeholders
