Cardiff Met SU partners with bigmoose charity for 2023/24

Cardiff Met SU is thrilled to announce bigmoose as our nominated charity partner for the 2023/24 academic year! As part of this partnership, Cardiff Met SU will actively engage the student body in fundraising activities and awareness events, supported by the bigmoose team. Using the energy and enthusiasm of the student community, the partnership aims to raise awareness and reduce the stigma around mental health whilst raising important funds for the charity.

bigmoose are a local Cardiff-based mental health charity who aim to help people with their mental health and prevent suicides. Their work has helped over 900 people and saved 35 people from suicide. bigmoose aim to reply to everyone within 24 hours and on average, new contacts are seen within a week. Every client is treated as an individual and referred to the best suited therapist based on their needs, and the therapists' specialties.
