The British Sign Language (BSL) Society is for hearing, hard of hearing (HoH), or D/deaf students who are interested in learning and using basic sign language and/or perfecting their current knowledge. We are all at different levels of expertise, from beginners to some with extensive knowledge.
We aim to create a safe group where people can learn, practice and share BSL, which will enable us to engage more with the HoH and D/deaf community, fundraise and engage in fun events and practice sign language as well as becoming Deaf Aware.
Why should you join?
If you want a taste of BSL and learn the basics or to perfect and improve your language skills, if you want to make new friends, then this is the group for you!
This group will help beginners to learn new signs which will help in their career or everyday lives.
If you already know how to sign and want to share your passion, come and join us, we would love you to join!
We will meet weekly at various locations.

There will be collaorations with other societies.
