Great feedback from a Course Rep having attended their away day on 27th October 2012:
“Fantastic day in all. Really enjoyed the spider’s web and setting the world record for the most people on a certain number of pallets! ”

Lovely tweet from @JamesACL who attended the Social Media for Employability workshop on 21st November 2012, thank you.
"What an amazing @UMAXStudents workshop with AimeeBateman @careercaketv at @cardiffmet ! I recommend them to anyone studying here #WeAreLucky"
A group of Interior Architecture final year students really enjoyed their first Training and Development workshop:
“Made me feel more confident and excited for the future sessions. Glad I signed up!”
“I am thrilled to have these workshops paid by the SU…It brings the topic of after university into reality!”
“I will be able to focus on my strengths and weaknesses and sell myself better to future employers”
“I attended the interview skills workshop with Aimee Bateman. Having little skills of the interview process, it was great to have an industry expert who was so enthusiastic and encouraging. I thought the afternoon was productive and I now have a much greater understanding and skill base of interviews. I hope that many more students sign up as they are an essential attribute to getting a job.” Katie Bees
At the very beginning I did not know where to start from, in fact I had some kind of CV written down but it surely was not ready for my internship applications. I knew that something needs to be done about it, so decided that it will be good to pop down the Jobshop placed at Llandaff campus and maybe ask for some help. I booked an appointment, as I found an interesting internship offer for students graduating this year, so at that point I needed to have a good CV and a cover letter ready. English is my second language, so I was looking for someone who can give me advice on how a good cv and cover letter should look like but also check my spelling and grammar.
Charlotte’s professional competence helped me with everything what I needed and I was extremely impressed with her enthusiasm about me getting the internship. It was a pleasure to take all really valuable advice from Charlotte. I feel proud that I had the opportunity to work on it with Charlotte.
Overall, I would not hesitate to recommend Charlotte in helping you with any problems regarding job you are facing. Let spread the world that we have got such a great service at our university!!!
The internship at JLT was great as I was able to get hands on experience with real client work. I feel privileged to have undertaken this internship as it has given me experience in what a finance role would entail. I would recommend anyone to take an opportunity if it arose again in the future.
Thank you very much for helping me with my C.V. beforehand, I found it very helpful! You were always really good with keeping me updated about the job.
