This week we celebrate #TrusteesWeek, with this years’ theme - Making a difference in changing times.

Check out what your trustees do to represent you, the students!

With an insight into the decisions they make on your behalf, the personal development that the positions provide and their hopes for students in the future.

We asked our SU President - Affairs & Community, Venky Gonavaram what it’s like being on the Board of Trustees.
‘Being given the opportunity to be a trustee allows us to gain experience very few others our age have the chance to do, it also enables us with the ability to make decisions that positively impact the individuals that we represent’.

To celebrate the trustees have come together to look at what the first few months since taking up the position have been like, from nervous first meetings to training to decision making!  Above all being a trustee of the Students Union provides an opportunity to ensure the voices of students are at the heart of decision making, after all the SU exist for the benefit of students.

We also asked a few of our SU School Reps on their experience being on the Board of Trustees so far.
