Across the first two weeks of term, Cardiff Met SU has delivered the SU’s biggest ever Fresher’s programme, putting the SU at the heart of student life and the center of the student community!
Over 2000 students attended student led activity across the first two weeks including SU Society welcome sessions, SU Sport club taster sessions and trials, and Cardiff Met Award sign up sessions.
5610 students enjoyed the SU’s Freshers’ Fayre and were introduce members to their SU representatives, SU Sport clubs, SU Societies and SU opportunities as well as University services, local charities, and local and national businesses offering freebies, giveaways, demonstrations and displays.
Close to 700 Cardiff Met students purchased wristbands to attend 14 nights of events in venues across the city in partnership with Move Together, and 2500 students filled the Cardiff Arms Park for the Cardiff Clash. We’ve also served nearly 14,000 people in our SU venues with pocket friendly food, coffee, and student essentials from the shop!
