Mass testing for students has been made available on campus between the 1st and 3rd of December to allow students the opportunity to acces a quick Covid test before departing for the Christmas break.
To help you get some reassurance before you leave, you can get a test on campus before you travel to where you’ll be spending Christmas. Keep in mind that test results can take up to three days to come back and you’ll need to self-isolate while you wait.
Screening can help determine if you are carrying the virus or not. A positive result will mean you’ll need to take the swab test (commonly known as a PCR test), and self-isolate until you have the result. It would be a good idea for you to discuss this with your current household (or bubble) to help ensure everybody can travel onwards safely.
