With the shiny new Art and Design block nearly complete, library staff have been preparing for their bit in the big move. This summer the entire Art & Design library at Howard Gardens: slides, art & design books, journals and DVDs, will be transported to Llandaff Learning Centre.
We have been busy measuring shelves and planning how to integrate the two libraries without reducing your learning space. We are looking at the collection and ordering new items, making sure there is plenty of relevant study material available for you to use, both electronically and in print.
We will regularly post about our moving experiences [bad pun alert] in the CSAD Library blog. But if you have any concerns then contact us as soon as possible.
Library service should remain unaffected until early June, but we will update you of any developments. During the summer move, loan periods will be extended and we will increase the number of items you can borrow to minimise disruptions to the service.
