In some way we all are looking for serenity. The world is cruel to everybody, every day at some point we all confront some negativity in our lives and for sure we are all judged by the society. I can imagine how tough it would be for someone who read or heard gossips in contradiction of themselves and tries to manage it entirely, obviously it’s more hurting and brutal. I can feel and understand someone’s soreness because to the same extent I have been affected by the family gossips in my early age and I know some people around me who have been, excessively. I’ve seen many people ruining their lives alongside someone else’s life by smearing fault statements in the society. Isn’t it time to stop the cruelty?

Everyone is playing hide and seek with their messy, complex and chaotic relationships. People are tired of vagueness in their avaricious relations and wants to escape from their troubles; ever since I started university, I thought I was the only one who was stressing about work load, financial support, bills etc. but no, that wasn’t the case at all. Everyone that I’ve associated with is dealing with some kind of stress and they are looking getaways like drinking and smoking, etc. people do not recognise that it is not healthy but whatever takes your mind of everyday stress is a winner.

I asked to my mates why you’d drink so much; their replies weren’t out of the blue, but were disheartening: we drink to escape from our worries, alcohol and weed make our brain fuzzy and helps to fade away our immoral reminiscences. It helps us to drown our sorrows and grieves at least for a night.

We are in the stage of, life where all we want is money because money seems to be the solution to all of our problems. Since there are not many jobs out there, people in their 20s are willing to do anything, to get some extra cash, for example; getting involved with illegal things, selling their bodies to strangers etc. some of them are sexually active to just maintain their impression in the society. It’s very bizarre that people are willing to go pass the limits to have a good impression in the society even they are ready to sleep with their mates so that they could go out and have a good time with their acquaintances.

Most famous American actor Judd Nelson said “I don’t know if it matters what country you’re from, the size of the city you’re from, urban or rural, there are people that are hurting each other everywhere”. His few words have the intensity level to express the fact that the whole world is busy detesting each other. No matter who we are and what we are doing, all we know is what can benefit us.

I wonder what has society become. I don’t get, how people can confront themselves after spending nights with someone unknown. Don’t they think about it at the end of the day? Do they love themselves when they get up from someone’s bed or when they look into the mirror?

Money is a poison that slowly killing our conscience. I am wondering how people seeing the meaning of life.
