The launch of Pinnacle Campus Sport at Llandaff Campus on Wednesday 1st October was a huge success with over 180 students attending the event. The day saw 162 students from Llandaff campus and 2 mini buses of students who travelled from Cyncoed campus. The students were able to sample any of the 10 sports that Campus Sport includes and get to know exactly what Campus Sport offers to the student body.
The sports offered include Touch Rugby, Tennis, Football, Cricket, Table Tennis, Running, Badminton, Netball, Basketball and Climbing.
Campus Sport offers various benefits to the students who participate, the membership is only £25 for the whole year and allows students to join in with any of the 10 sports! The social aspect of sport is a key feature of Campus Sport and the launch event allowed students to interact with each other and meet the coordinators for each sport. Everyone who attended also picked up a FREE hoodie for themselves!
Other key benefits of joining Campus Sport is that it helps students to find the perfect balance between leading an active and healthy lifestyle, alongside making friends and having a good time. The mixture of competition but also inclusion and participation means that Campus Sport is open to all and can suit any students regardless of their ability or experience.
The wide range of sports available mean that you will be able to find an activity that suits you, whether its a sport you already play or perhaps something new that you're interested in trying. The activities take place at various locations around Cardiff, on both Llandaff and Cyncoed campus as well as other facilities in the Capital.
