Cardiff Met Tennis raised £271.34 for Diabetes UK Cymru

Cardiff Met Tennis in association with touchtennis held a tournament to raise money for Diabtes UK Cymru. The tournament was run by University Tennis Co-ordinator Mike Castle with huge help from Ladies 2nd team player Laura Mackey. Over 1000 points were played in a total of over 100 matches of tennis during the evening event. 36 students attended and winners of the tournament were Billy Barclay and James Rowe, with the runners up place being taken by Emily Watson and Dom Smith. The money raised was added to by an extra pound being added by touchtennis for every student who attended, also matched by Mike Castle.
