Following Cardiff Met FC's victory over Prestatyn Town FC in the Welsh Cup 3rd round, we spoke to 1st team goalkeeper and sports scholar in Applied Sport Psychology Msc about the season so far, and his expectations for the next round.

Name: Will Fuller
Age: 21
Sport: Football

How was the 3rd round game against Prestatyn, did the team expect to progress and how did the game play out?
The team was brilliant against Prestatyn, it was a game we thought we could win based on the squad we have and Prestatyn's struggles this season but their experience and Welsh Premier status were in their favour. It was a good game, we settled well and controlled the game with our passing football and we never really looked troubled, scoring four goals and showing what we're capable of it we were to be promoted into the Welsh Prem after this season.

Who have you drawn in the next round, and are the team pleased with the draw?
We've got Airbus UK in the 4th round. We're pleased because we're at home and we had a great turnout for the last game so we're hopeful of getting that again; they're flying high in the Prem and have a big budget paying lots of money but we reckon we've got a good chance if we play well.

In terms of BUCS how is the 1st team getting on this year?
We've had an okay season so far, we beat a few teams comfortably with 3-0's, and 8-0's against Bristol and Bournemouth but currently sit second. We'll want to improve on that in the new year as we look to make the BUCS prem.
